Lori Schlotzhauer

Lori’s background in physical therapy, including eight years in a corporate setting, led her to a revelation that transformed her career: the mind, emotions, and physical body are interconnected. When she ventured out on her own in 2006, her approach focused on “integrated wellness,” which enabled her to combine her physical therapy skills with career coaching and alternative healing to help clients achieve success and fulfillment.

An empathetic practitioner, Lori can talk the talk because she has walked the walk. She is passionate about working with clients who are making life or career transitions, starting a small business, experiencing anxiety in their current position, or lacking vision about their goals and objectives.

According to Lori, it is especially gratifying to provide clients with the guidance they need to thrive and succeed in all areas of their lives. Many times, the outcomes exceed clients’ expectations.

Lori is a certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) instructor. She holds a Master of Physical Therapy from Regis University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications from the University of Central Missouri.

In both her professional and personal life, Lori’s moral compass guides her and it is focused on honesty and integrity. She is resilient and courageous, crucial traits she honed as a small business owner for nearly two decades. Lori’s compassion drives her work with clients. The challenges she has confronted and the obstacles she has overcome in her own life shape her approach, enabling her to be a deeply understanding and accepting coach.

As a member of the VIM coaching team, Lori’s practice focuses on helping entrepreneurs, executives, and other leaders get in touch with their best selves to provide them with the clarity they need to make tough decisions, navigate through challenging times, and achieve a work/life balance. She also offers mindfulness and stress management strategy training to groups and organizations.
